Happy Sunday everyone-
Monday April 20 is the opening day at ATO for Jobkeeper Enrolment
But first you must have satisfied the 30% decline in turnover
You may satisfy this test at a later date, at which time we will begin this process
Jobkeeper is for Employees, Sole Traders and business participants (ie director, partner etc that aren’t paid a wage).
Once enrolled, your accounting software needs to be set up in order to process a payroll that complies with ATO requirements to trigger reimbursement to your business.
The set up is relatively easy with step by step instructions to be provided. If you prefer we set this up for you, please advise. We can assist as required by using Teamviewer- download the app (its free), then call to arrange.
For those businesses that don’t report wages via STP (ie closely held employees, working directors, one Partner of a partnership) the process is slightly different and ATO advises application forms will be available at ato.gov.au by Monday 20 April
