April – Update 1

While we wait for Wednesday and legislation to pass for the latest stimulus offering.

Please keep in mind the following items

Business:

Ensure your BAS’s are up to date and lodged on time in order for ATO to process

appropriate payments to your integrated client account (GST/PAYGW etc)

Ensure tax returns for Companies Trusts and Individuals are lodged. This will help with JobKeeper applications for sole traders as well as employees.

Individuals:

If you have been stood down due to COVID 19 – register at Centrelink on line for any of the Jobseeker payments etc

Once this weeks legislation is passed we can offer specific individual advice based on your situation and circumstances.
